Pawn Tutorial

For this tutorial I had to draw a symmetrical half of a pawn chess piece in Illustrator. The symmetrical half that I have to draw also has to be symmetrically round for the lathe tool to work. Once I had done that I imported it into 3ds Max and applied the lathe tool to create a 3D pawn chess piece.

I found this tutorial really interesting as it gave me a better understanding of how the software works.
