Boolean

For this tutorial I created a box with a small depth. Then I created my name using the text tool but made the depth of my name bigger than the box I had created. Using the boolean tool it creates holes within the box.

As you can see the shape of the holes within the box are of the shape of the text I had put in using the text tool.
